WHO states: ‘Canada is doing better’

WHO confirms that Canada is doing better regarding coronavirus pandemic

WHO confirms that ‘Canada is doing better’ with coronavirus. Since the start of the pandemic, many governments have declared lockdown and social distancing measures. Notably, Brazil’s President Bolsonaro has also tested positive for coronavirus. Experts, meanwhile, are criticising President Trump’s response to the crisis, with some even denouncing his statements as potentially dangerous. At the same time, Australia’s second largest city, Melbourne, with a population close to 6 million people, is officially going back on lockdown.

Nonetheless, Canada seems to be on track with its handling of the pandemic. ‘Canada is doing better’ compared to other parts of America, WHO Director General Ghebreyesus told the press. While Latin America situation continues to worsen, Canada has demonstrated exceptional resilience and care both from institutions and citizens.
